Limited spaces available. Sign up today to secure your spot!
Saturday, May 10th - 9AM-1PM *
- 💦Learn the fundamentals of wet felting: Understand the properties of wool and how the felting process works.
- 🧼Master essential techniques: Discover how to lay out fibers, apply water and soap, and agitate to create strong and cohesive felt.
- 🎨Explore color and design: Experiment with different wool colors and learn simple techniques to create patterns and textures in your felt.
- 🖼️Create your own unique felted piece: You'll have the opportunity to craft a beautiful and functional item; we will be wet felting a small bowl/bag.
- 🧘🏻♀️Enjoy a relaxing and creative atmosphere: Connect with fellow crafters and experience the therapeutic nature of working with natural fibers.
No prior experience is necessary! Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step, ensuring you leave with a beautiful creation and a newfound appreciation for this versatile art form. All necessary materials, including high-quality wool fibers, tools, and soap, will be provided but we ask you to bring your own...
BRING YOUR OWN:
- 2 or 3 good-sized bath towels - don't bring your best; wool dye may run
- 2 hand towels
- apron
- rubber/vinyl gloves - your hands will be wet for hours. I like the "All Purpose Vinyl Gloves" from Wegmans - they have anti-slip texture on the palms that helps with felting.
This workshop is perfect for:
- Beginners eager to learn a new craft.
- Experienced crafters looking to explore a different medium.
- Anyone seeking a relaxing and creative outlet.
- Those who appreciate handmade and unique items.
Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of wet felting!
The goal is to get you through most if not all the project. You may not finish in 4 hours - and that's OK - neither did I. The project is fairly portable and you can finish up at home or come back later/another day.)
